1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services SeatShift B.V. operates an e-commerce platform where users can purchase tickets for concerts, football matches, festivals, and other high-demand events. SeatShift operates on the secondary ticket market. Tickets are either purchased directly from official ticket platforms or through verified third-party sellers who also source from original vendors. As such, prices may be above or below face value, and seat locations are confirmed upon delivery. All prices shown include applicable VAT, service fees, and delivery charges—no hidden costs will be added later.
3. Eligibility Our platform is open to users of all ages. However, users under 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent before making any purchases.
4. User Accounts Users may create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. We strongly recommend creating an account and ensuring that all your contact details are up to date.
5. Ticket Delivery & Risk Tickets will be delivered using various methods depending on the event and platform: digital tickets, mobile transfer, physical delivery, or ticket links. We aim to deliver tickets at least two weeks before the event. However, due to delays from official sources, the latest possible delivery is on the day of the event. Tickets will be delivered to the contact information you provide. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your details. SeatShift is not liable for delivery issues caused by incorrect user information. Risk transfers to the customer upon successful delivery via email or digital link.
6. Refunds & Entry Denial All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. If a different ticket is issued, it may be an upgrade. If a customer claims they were denied entry, they must provide valid evidence (e.g. a scan report). Claims without supporting documentation may be denied.
7. Event Changes or Cancellations If an event is rescheduled, tickets remain valid for the new date. If cancelled, customers may be eligible for a refund in line with the official policy of the event organizer.
8. Ticket Authenticity Guarantee All tickets sold are 100% authentic and valid. In the rare event that a ticket is deemed invalid, customers must provide verifiable proof to be eligible for a refund.
9. Lowest Price Guarantee9.1 General SeatShift.nl offers a lowest price guarantee to our customers. We guarantee that you get the best price for your tickets. If you find a lower price elsewhere for an identical ticket within the validity period of this guarantee, you may be eligible for a refund of the difference. 9.2 Validity Period The lowest price guarantee applies only to claims submitted within 24 hours after purchase confirmation of your ticket(s) on SeatShift.nl The claim must relate to a lower price that was available at the time of your purchase or within this 24-hour period 9.3 Identical Tickets The lower price must relate to a ticket that is completely identical to your purchase: • Same event (date, time and location)
• Same or comparable category and seat (section, row, seat number or closest equivalent)
• Same number of tickets
• Identical delivery conditions
9.4 Permitted Comparison Sources The lower price must be found on: • Official ticket sellers of the event
• Recognized Dutch ticket platforms with KVK registration
• International platforms from reputable providers
• Companies with a professional website and payment system
Examples of permitted sources include (but are not limited to): Ticketmaster, Ticombo, ViaGoGo, StubHub, Eventim, TicketSwap, and other similar professional ticket platforms. Excluded are: • Auctions and bidding systems
• Marktplaats, eBay, Facebook Marketplace and similar platforms
• WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels or other chat applications
• Social media advertisements or personal sales offers
• Private sellers without KVK number
• Promotions, discount codes or offers not publicly available
• Corporate arrangements, employee discounts or group discounts
• Flash sales or temporary offers shorter than 1 hour
• Prices for damaged, returned or second-hand tickets
• Prices requiring additional mandatory memberships or subscriptions
9.5 Burden of Proof The customer must provide: • Screenshot or URL of the lower price with clearly visible date and time
• Proof that the ticket was actually available for purchase at that time
• Screenshot of shopping cart or availability confirmation
• Complete price details including all service fees and surcharges
9.6 Claim ProcessSubmitting a Claim: • Claims must be submitted via email to [email protected]
• The claim must include your order number, proof of lower price and contact details
• Incomplete claims will not be processed
Processing Period: • Claims will be reviewed within 5-7 business days
• SeatShift.nl reserves the right to request additional information
• Upon approval, the price difference will be refunded within 14 business days
Price Difference Calculation: • The refunded amount is the difference between the total price paid at SeatShift.nl (including service fees) and the total price at the competitor (including all costs)
• Maximum the amount of the original purchase
• Excluding any exchange rate fluctuations
9.7 Exclusions The lowest price guarantee does NOT apply to: • Tickets purchased through third parties or resold
• B2B transactions or business purchases over 10 tickets
• VIP packages, hospitality arrangements or combo deals
• Tickets where the price depends on exchange rates
• Situations where fraud or abuse is suspected
• Price differences smaller than €10.00 per ticket
• Events within 48 hours before start
9.8 General ProvisionsMaximum Claims: • Per customer, a maximum of 3 successful claims per calendar year applies
• SeatShift.nl reserves the right to exclude repeat claimers from future guarantees
Approval: • SeatShift.nl decides at its own discretion on the validity of claims
• Decisions are final and not subject to appeal
• In case of doubt about the authenticity of evidence, the claim will be rejected
Fraud: • In case of suspected fraud, manipulation of screenshots or other deception, the claim will be immediately rejected
• SeatShift.nl reserves the right to block the customer account
10. Right of Withdrawal Due to the time-sensitive nature of event tickets, your purchase is exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal under Dutch law (Article 6:230p BW). All sales are final unless the law requires otherwise.
11. Third-Party Websites Our platform may link to third-party websites (e.g. Trustpilot, social media). We are not responsible for external content or policies.
12. Prohibited Activities Use of automated software (bots or scripts) to purchase tickets is strictly prohibited. Violators may have their account suspended or terminated.
13. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by the user for the disputed ticket(s). This does not affect your statutory rights.
14. Force Majeure SeatShift is not responsible for any failure or delay due to events outside our control, including strikes, natural disasters, technical failures, or government restrictions.
15. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance.
16. Data Protection & Privacy We collect and process personal data (name, email, address, etc.) for ticket delivery, support, and security. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have rights to access, rectify, or delete your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
17. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will first be addressed through informal negotiation and, if unresolved, by binding arbitration.
